Plumb is an add-in for Microsoft Word made by Krzysztof Zach. These terms cover Plumb Plus, the paid subscription. Last updated 23 October 2026.
Scoring is free and stays free: scoring against the built-in styles, custom styles learnt from your writing, and rule-based styles all run on your own device and need no subscription.
With Plumb Plus, Generate suggestions and Draft rules work through Plumb's service, which sends your request to OpenAI on your behalf. It costs €5 a month or €50 a year, and includes:
A request longer than the service accepts — about 850 words, less for a style with many examples and rules — is refused and not counted. So is one whose rewrites would be too long to send back whole, which is not counted the first 20 times in a month; OpenAI charges for those all the same, so after that each counts as a request. Rewrites are written by a machine: read them before you use them.
Plumb Plus is sold through Lemon Squeezy, which is the merchant of record: it takes the payment, charges any tax due in your country, and sends your receipt and invoices. Its own buyer terms apply to the payment. Your licence key arrives by email from Lemon Squeezy.
The subscription renews at the end of each month or year until you cancel it. Cancel at any time in the customer portal, where you can also change your card and download invoices. After cancelling, Plumb Plus keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for. If a payment fails, update your card in the portal; Plumb picks the subscription up again within the hour.
If Plumb Plus is not for you, write to support@plumbwriting.com within 14 days of your first payment and it is refunded in full — no reason needed. The subscription ends with the refund. Later renewals are not refunded; cancelling stops the next one.
A licence key is for you. Do not publish it or share it beyond your own computers, and use the service only through Plumb. A key that is plainly being abused may be ended, with the unused part of the period refunded.
Plumb's service may be unavailable at times, and nothing here promises that it never will be. A price change applies from your next renewal and is announced by email at least 30 days before. If Plumb Plus is discontinued, the unused part of your period is refunded.
Plumb is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, the publisher's liability is limited to what you paid for Plumb Plus in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here takes away a right you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in. These terms are governed by Polish law.
