Getting help

Report a problem or ask a question at https://github.com/braumeister32/Restyler/issues. Say which Word you are using (Windows, Mac or the web) and what you did just before the problem appeared. Do not paste your licence key.

What Plumb needs

• Word 2021 or later, or Microsoft 365, on Windows; Word for Mac 15.32 or later; or Word on the web.
• An internet connection. The first time you open it, it downloads the language model and the code that runs it (about 35 MB); the model is kept by your browser and is not downloaded again.
• For Generate suggestions and Draft rules only: a Plumb Plus subscription. Scoring never needs one.

Common questions

The score says "Loading the style model…". The model is downloading. It happens once.

"This version of Word cannot run the style model." Your Word's built-in browser is too old to run it. Styles defined by rules still work; scoring against the built-in styles needs a newer Word.

My styles are missing on another computer. Styles are kept on the device you made them on. Use Export in Manage Styles, then Import on the other device.

Plumb Plus

Plumb Plus is coming soon. It adds rewrite suggestions and rule drafting, for €5 a month or €50 a year; see the pricing and the terms it will be sold on. Questions: support@plumbwriting.com.
